Kardam back home

Crown Prince Kardam of Bulgaria has been discharged from hospital in Conxo, Spain, and is now back at the FOLTRAN center for rehabilitative care. According to several Spanish newspapers, the Crown Prince was hospitalized because of a high fever due to a kidney infection. His wife, Miriam, has stated that Kardam "continues to recover."

Earlier this month, FAMMA asked photographers to stop harassing Prince Kardam, who suffered severe injuries in a nearly fatal car accident in August 2008. The organiztion complained that the Prince is unable to go outside for a walk with his wife because photographers are always outside, as they are anxious to take a photograph of the prince in a wheelchair. The organization has asked the photographers to allow Kardam and his family to live in peace and freedom to help his recovery.
Famma is a Madrid-based organization that lobbies for the needs and rights of the disabled in Spain.
